The weather has been a little rough in eastern NC this year, and particularly in the last month or so. I have been spending a lot of time staring out from the garage at 35 degree weather and rain, that delightful wintery mix of weather that NC seems to specialize in. I think we're all starting to feel the effects of cabin fever out here...I even wheeled my shovel in the living room the other night so we could reminisce about better days over some of Jack Daniel's finest. Anyway, all that being said, despite concerns I may be losing it - warm weather is finally starting to peak through so make sure you get out there and take advantage of it. Here are some shots from some long awaited warm sundays...
Last Sunday at the Fat Pelican in Carolina Beach...over 400 beers to choose from - they actually just backed a refrigerated tractor trailer full of beer up and built a bar around it. It's definitely a cool spot if you are in the area.
No shortage of cool stuff to look at, from the random christmas cow, to the boat they turned into a bar.
